Job description

South East / permanent / £25 – 32 per hour, dependent on experience

The Department is looking to recruit a lecturer with a health background to teach across our L2 and L3 Health and Social Care programmes, including the new T-level in Health Science planned for 2026.

The main responsibility of this role will be to provide high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment, as well as undertaking associated tutorial duties. The successful candidate may also be a course leader for one or more programmes.

The ideal applicant will have experience teaching and assessing Health and Social Care programmes or Health Science subjects, with relevant occupational competency and experience working in the Health sector.

Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualifications or industry experience, combined with a full teaching qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, DTLS), is required for the role. Applicants with an L3 teaching qualification who are willing to undertake a full L5 Diploma in Education and Training will be considered.
