Job summary

A leading health and safety recruitment firm is seeking a Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental (HSQE) Coordinator in Royston. In this role, you will support HSQE practices across the business, focusing on achieving ISO 45001 certification while maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 and 14001. Ideal candidates will have experience in relevant sectors and a NEBOSH Certificate. The position offers a salary between £30,000 and £35,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Some experience in health, safety, quality or environmental roles, ideally in manufacturing, logistics or industrial sectors.
• A health and safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH Certificate).
• Effective communication skills to engage colleagues at all levels.
• Familiarity with ISO standards would be advantageous.
• A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across sites.

Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental (HSQE) Coordinator
Royston | £30,000 to £35,000 plus benefits

We're delighted to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing and logistics company to recruit a Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental (HSQE) Coordinator. This newly created role will support the development of HSQE practices across the business and play a key part in achieving ISO 45001 certification, while maintaining ISO 9001 and 14001.

The position reports to the Operations Director and is based in Royston, with some travel to other local company sites.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and improving HSQE systems aligned with ISO 45001, 9001 and 14001.
• Monitoring records such as incident logs, training registers and audit reports.
• Assisting with audits, site inspections and compliance checks.
• Acting as secretary for the HSQE Steering Committee and tracking actions.
• Supporting investigations into incidents and championing continual improvement.
• Helping prepare for ISO audits and ensuring compliance with legislation.

Qualifications

• Some experience in health, safety, quality or environmental roles, ideally in manufacturing, logistics or industrial sectors.
• A health and safety qualification (eg. NEBOSH Certificate).
• Effective communication skills to engage colleagues at all levels.
