Job summary

A leading construction firm based in Leeds is seeking a Health & Safety Officer. The successful candidate will hold a NEBOSH qualification and have experience in the construction industry. Responsibilities include conducting safety audits, preparing risk assessments, and training employees on-site. A competitive salary and benefits package will be offered to the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Regular site visits to multiple locations.
  • Preparing site safety audits.
  • Preparing risk assessments and RAMS as required.
  • On-site training, including bulletins and toolbox talks.
  • Attending health and safety meetings for clients and in-house.
  • Completion of pre-qualification questionnaires.
  • Dealing with accidents and reporting.
  • Maintaining near-miss reports and data.
  • Assisting with insurance renewals and reports.
  • Dealing with annual safety inspections and Achilles renewals.
  • Identifying risks to the business and implementing necessary changes.

Position: Health & Safety Officer

Location: Based Leeds

Client: My client works on building envelope and general constrcution projects around the UK. They have a full order book and are expanding. They are currently looking to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Skills & Responsibilities:

The person needs to be fully qualified with experience in the construction industry. They must hold a minimum of NEBOSH qualification.

  • Regular site visits to multiple locations
