Qualifications

• Substantial hands-on experience as a Health & Safety Manager.
• Proficient in conducting risk assessments.
• Highly motivated and able to operate effectively in a standalone capacity.

Responsibilities

• Lead health & safety across the business, ensuring compliance.
• Act as the first point of contact for all H&S queries.
• Monitor performance through audits and inspections.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver training and oversee contractor safety.

Skills

NEBOSH Level 3 General Certificate

Practical familiarity with ISO 9001

Knowledge of UK health and safety legislation

Excellent communication skills

Ability to influence teams

Experience in design, engineering, or lab environments
