  • Produce comprehensive Health & Safety and Environmental reports.
  • Conduct Safety Training courses.

Job description

Our established client is a major player within the environmental compliance sector providing a range of health and safety duties to clients across the UK. They are now looking for an experienced Health & Safety Consultant based in and around the Sunderland area. Applications from Durham, Newcastle upon Tyne, South Shields, Hartlepool and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Strong technical/consultancy/management/auditing/asbestos/legionella background.
  • Relevant NEBOSH, CMIOSH, NEBOSH L5 and P402 certificates – Health & Safety qualifications are essential.
  • Experience working within the specified industries e.g. asbestos, legionella and fire would be beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, policies & procedures.
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Main Responsibilities
  • Attend sites to carry out inspections relating to the Health & Safety performance of the teams.
  • Undertake legionella risk assessments.
  • Carry out asbestos re-inspection surveys.
  • Health & Safety, Staff and Compliance audits.
  • Provide technical support to the company’s clients.
  • Produce comprehensive Health & Safety and Environmental reports.
  • Conduct Safety Training courses.
  • Nationwide travel.
