What that means day to day
  • Conduct risk-based, desktop health and safety audits aligned with our accreditation standards.
  • Liaise directly with customers, guiding them through the assessment process and helping them compile necessary documentation.
  • Evaluate customer submissions and determine compliance with our standards before issuing accreditation.
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback on non-conformances, supporting customers in making necessary improvements.
  • Deliver professional health and safety advice and excellent customer service.
  • Work to achieve productivity and quality KPIs in a target-driven environment.
  • Produce detailed and accurate audit reports.
What you’ll need to be successful

Essential:

  • Strong knowledge of current health and safety legislation and best practices.
  • Experience in health and safety or compliance-related roles.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
  • Tech IOSH membership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident handling customer interactions, particularly over the phone.
  • Organised, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.

Desirable:

  • At least 2 years of experience in the health and safety or construction industry.
