My client is a global leader in their field and are currently looking to recruit an experienced Health Safety and Quality (HSEQ) Representative to join their existing diverse team. The HSEQ Representative will support operations in implementing HSEQ programs under the leadership of the HSEQ Manager, working closely with operations to pursue objectives, targets, and the overall goal of reaching beyond zero.
Health Safety and Quality (HSEQ) Representative in UK
The incumbent will work closely with the HSEQ Manager to partner with operations in pursuing objectives, targets, and the goal of reaching beyond zero.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and document inspections and assessments.
- Assure that all work is performed in compliance with company and customer requirements.
- Assist operations in obtaining safety equipment and supplies.
- Assist in accident/incident investigations and reporting.
- Coordinate, conduct or facilitate Health & Safety training activities and safety meetings.
- Perform Accident/Near Miss Investigations and report findings to management.
- Report and recommend corrective actions.
- Counsel and advise all company employees and subcontractors in acceptable safety and training performance and practices.
- Keep current UK specific health and safety policies, procedures, and employee manuals.
- Perform safety risk assessments and support JSA completion.
- Identify and report unsafe acts or behaviors.
- Capable of learning technical details about the companies' products.
- Support operations by conducting quality audits.
- Create quality inspection and test plan documentation.
- Available for regular travel within the United Kingdom and occasional international travel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in safety management or Middle Management Safety - IOSH / Nebosh certificate or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of HSEQ
- Native English language skills
- Safety Standards/ local laws and regulations knowledgeable
- Able to work independently without supervision
- Good written and verbal communications skills
- Able to lead a group discussion or a team if needed
- Focused and able to deliver on time
- Must be a self-starter and committed individual.
- Candidate shall be able to reach office in Kent area and eligible to work in UK.
