Job summary

A regional health board in Wales is seeking a candidate to support the Access to Health Records Service. You will process subject access requests and ensure compliance with data protection legislation, including GDPR. Ideal candidates will have a good understanding of data protection laws, excellent communication skills, and experience in a similar field, with Welsh language skills as a plus.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of Data Protection and GDPR legislation.
• Experience working in a related field is desirable.
• Excellent communication, organisational and process-driven skills.
• Welsh language skills desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Process subject access requests for patient records, ensuring statutory timescales are met.
• Locate, extract and scan patient records in a timely manner.
• Escalate delays and maintain high quality service.
• Act as the first point of contact within the Health Board.
