About the Role

We are looking to recruit a healthcare assistant to join our Adult Community Nursing Service in Oldham. The role will be to support the delivery of essential District Nursing services in Oldham, supporting the registered nurses to deliver high quality care in patients in their own home and in other community settings.

Changes to the UK immigration policy introduced on 9th April 2025 increased the minimum salary threshold for certificates of sponsorship applications for Health and Care Worker Visa from £23,200 (£11.90 per hour) to £25,000 (£12.82 per hour). As per Agenda for Change, if you are new to the NHS your starting salary would be £24,937 (minimum Band 3 salary point from 1st April 2025 in line with National Living Wage requirements). This salary point is below the new minimum threshold, and therefore not eligible for sponsorship. Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients, their families, and carers, carrying out delegated clinical and therapeutic tasks, promoting physical, mental and emotional health to individuals and client groups in their own home or in a designated treatment room setting.
• Work as an effective member of the Adult Community Nursing Team.
