The Team

The Team: We are seeking a Health Care Assistant provides high quality care and support to community and/or facility-based clients and assists with a range of daily living activities that a person would normally do for themselves.

Beaconsfield District Health Service:

  • We are located in the historical town of Beaconsfield, a scenic 45 minutes’ drive from Launceston. National Parks, beaches and historical sites are all within a short drive from the town.
  • You will find, Beaconsfield District Health Service is known for its welcoming environment, with strong teamwork and positive attitudes.
  • Beaconsfield District Health Service provides care to a complex patient cohort, Respite clients, Aged Care residents, Emergency presentations and sub-acute clients.

Details of appointment:

Fixed term, casual, position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 24 months.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary:$63,110 to $66,049 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

Salary Packaging:

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

  • Current Driver’s Licence (only applicable where the occupant is required to provide services to community based clients)
