A medical practice in Tees Valley is seeking a part-time Health Care Assistant to support patient care. The role involves collaborating with the practice team and managing various clinical tasks while ensuring high-quality service delivery. Candidates should have prior experience and relevant qualifications in health and social care, as well as strong communication skills.
We are looking for an experienced health care assistant to join our friendly team. The role is part time over 3 days. The main base is The Endeavour Practice; you may be asked to work at our other site, Martonside Medical Centre, on occasions.
To assist in patient care and practice related duties working under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager / Practice Nurses and strictly in accordance with specific Practice guidelines and protocols. The Health Care Assistant will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients.
The Health Care Assistant will be required to support the practice team in providing high quality primary care services to the patients registered with the Practice. The Health Care Assistant needs to practice in a safe and confident manner, respecting the principles of health, safety and infection control at all times.
The Ironopolis Medical Group was established in 2017 by the administrative merger of The Endeavour Practice (9300 patients) and Martonside Medical Centre (7900 patients), two Middlesbrough Practices with excellent reputations for many years.
This position is for Endeavour Practice. The group has 5 GP partners and a management partner. Both sites are training practices.
Our clinical system is SystmOne.
The Health Care Assistant will be required to attend all appropriate updates and refresher courses within the timeframes specified for the clinical tasks in question.
