£12.71 per hour (£12.81 upon completion of Exemplar care certificate)

Position: Health Care Assistant

Care home: Meadowcroft

Location: Sutton-in-Ashfield, NG17 4BR

Contract type: Various contracts available. Weekend availability and flexibility required

Rate: £12.71 per hour (increasing to £12.81 per hour upon completion of Exemplar Care Certificate)

About the role

Our Health Care Assistants support people to live their best lives. No two days will ever be the same; day‑to‑day responsibilities include:

  • Encourage and engage people in learning and developing their daily living skills and independence
  • Recognise when people are unwell and provide the appropriate support
  • Support people with their personal care, such as getting washed, having a shower and getting dressed
  • Assist people at meal times
  • Support people with their health and wellbeing needs
  • Encourage people to take part in social activities, inside and outside the home
  • Promote choice, dignity, independence and respect at all times
  • Fill in care records

We value relevant experience and qualifications, but they aren’t essential for this role. Above all, you’re someone who identifies with our values of fun, integrity, responsiveness, success and teamwork.
