Health and Safety Manager – £40,000 - £55,000 + Monday - Friday + Company Benefits

St Ives - Commutable from Cambridge, Peterborough, Newmarket, Littleport, Huntingdon, Bedford, Northampton, Kettering, Bury St Edmunds or surrounding areas.

Are you from a H&S background, looking to work for a rapidly growing company where you will have the autonomy to implement and improve your own processes and procedures?

This is a unique opportunity to join a market leader, where you will work alongside senior management ensuring the H&S processes are upheld and improved. Long term progression is available to ensure you development.

This company have been established for over 40 years and are looking for a experienced Health and Safety officer to coming in and audit the companies workshops and factories.

Your role will be to complete health and safety audits at the clients factory ensuring the company complies with current legislation and best practices. You will also train and delivery safety inductions for new employees and contractors.

The role will suit a health and safety officer looking for full autonomy, further progression and the chance to complement your own changes within the business.

The Role
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and risks, implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Organise and track ongoing H&S training, including manual handling, PPE use, machine safety, and emergency response
  • Work closely with production, maintenance, and HR teams to ensure safety is prioritised in daily operations
The Person
  • Commutable to St Ives
  • Relevant Health & Safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent)
  • Experience in a H&S role within a manufacturing or production environment
