Job description

We have the pleasure in recruiting for a new role as a result of growth. Its a small to medium size family run engineering business based in the A52 Belvoir area. You will be joining the team in the role of Health & Safety Coordinator.

You will be reporting into the H&S Director and this role is fully office based.

Working hours: 08:00-16:00 Monday to Friday

Salary £32-£36k depending on qualification and experience. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. Ongoing development and job specific training courses.

Health & Safety Coordinator duties:
  • Working with our health & safety consultants Peninsula Business Services to ensure our legal obligations to our staff and applicable legislation are met
  • Administration on general & task specific risk assessments, fire risk assessments, COSHH assessments and such like
  • Monitor performance of health & safety
  • Maintaining safe systems of work
  • Onboard new starters
  • Performing periodic drug & alcohol tests
  • Working with all levels of management to promote and sustain a safe working environment

We are ideally looking for someone who is already NEBOSH qualified but training is available for the right person with the right experience.
