Responsibilities

  • Conducting Health & Safety Audits and Reviews.
  • Performing Fire Risk Assessments across various properties.
  • Carrying out Independent Contract Site Inspections.
  • Assisting with Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  • Preparing Policy Documentation.
  • Conducting Safety Training Courses.
  • Providing support and advice to clients.
  • Assisting with SSIP Accreditation Applications and Tender Documentation.
  • Undertaking Specialist Surveys (qualification dependent).

Lighthouse Risk Services LLP is a national firm of Health & Safety and Employment Law consultants with offices in Leeds. We are an organization bringing a positive approach to Health and Safety and Employment Law. Our services include Fire Risk Assessments, Asbestos Surveys, CDM, and Health & Safety Training.

We are recruiting an enthusiastic Health and Safety Consultant/Fire Risk Assessor to support our growing business.

Your main duties will include:

  • Conducting Health & Safety Audits and Reviews
  • Performing Fire Risk Assessments across various properties
  • Carrying out Independent Contract Site Inspections
  • Assisting with Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • Preparing Policy Documentation
  • Conducting Safety Training Courses
  • Providing support and advice to clients
  • Assisting with SSIP Accreditation Applications and Tender Documentation
  • Undertaking Specialist Surveys (qualification dependent)

The ideal candidate should have NEBOSH General/Fire Certificate (or equivalent). Membership in IOSH or IFE is advantageous, as is the P402 asbestos surveying certificate. Previous experience in H&S consultancy or Fire Risk Assessment is desirable.

This role is based from home, with most work done client-side nationwide, including occasional overnight stays. A full driving license is required.
