JOB TITLE: Health and Safety Advice Line Team Leader

LOCATION: Atherstone

SALARY: £36,000

Responsibilities

• Lead a Health and Safety Advisory team of four.
• Advise SME clients on all aspects of health and safety.
• Drive performance, development and quality management of the team.
• Support the Director of Health & Safety to manage team resources by planning and allocating workloads.
• Provide day-to-day support for colleagues involved in complex or high-profile cases in health and safety.
• Provide coaching and, where appropriate, advice to consultants and advisors on legal, safety and health issues.
• Promotional opportunities available.
• In return, you will be put through three NVQ courses and personally mentored towards IOSH Chartership at the client’s cost.

Candidate / Qualifications

• At least NEBOSH Diploma, or NVQ Level 5 in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Comprehensive knowledge of policies, procedures, risks, and legal requirements across a range of industry sectors, enabling the creation and drafting of bespoke policies and procedures, consultancy support and guidance relevant to these industries.
• Previous experience leading a team and a customer-centric approach. The team can be in any industry including retail or hospitality.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
