Rodenhurst School provides individualised SEN education within a tailored therapeutic setting specialising in SEMH needs for up to 15 pupils.
We are a family feel school who have recently rated ‘Good’ in all areas by OFSTED, we are proud of our warm, family‑focused ethos and the strong relationships we build with our pupils.
Small student numbers mean we can give our very best to the young people who come through our doors every day, whether that is a role model to look up to, or a safe person to trust. Here at Rodenhurst we support our pupils not only in their education but in discovering their potential and working towards meaningful, aspirational futures.
Rodenhurst is situated in the beautiful Shropshire countryside which allows us to provide a pleasant working environment for pupils and staff. Our rural location means that we are able to offer pupils plenty of outdoor space including an onsite forest school, outdoor classroom and MUGA. The school is easily commutable from both Shrewsbury and Telford.
Family Care is committed to safeguarding and always promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects the post holder to share this commitment. To uphold this responsibility, we follow Safer Recruitment practices to ensure we select suitable candidates.
