Head Pastry Chef | Fenstanton, Cambridgeshire | Full Time | £35,000 to £40,000, depending on experience


Our client, based at Unit 5 Beech Court, Fenstanton, is excited to expand their team with the addition of a Head Pastry Chef. This is a full-time position that offers a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about patisserie.

Qualifications


  • Experience as a pastry chef or a Head pastry chef

  • Familiarity with making pastries and petit gateaux

  • Competent with chocolate work

  • Ability to manage a team

  • Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude

  • Attention to detail and a passion for the craft

  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and design pastry menus

  • Ensure consistent taste, presentation, and quality of all pastries by maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen

  • Efficiently manage ingredient inventory, place orders, and monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or wastage
