A well-established insurer in Greater London is seeking a Head of Validation for their actuarial and financial risk function. This senior role involves owning the model validation framework, providing governance across capital modelling, and ensuring regulatory compliance. • Own the model validation scope and annual plan, including oversight of external reviews.
• Act as the subject matter expert on Solvency UK / Solvency II validation requirements.
• Deliver and maintain validation, model risk, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Present clear validation findings to senior committees and Boards.
• Partner with actuarial, risk, and capital teams on internal model methodology and change.
