An exciting regional Head of Tax role has arisen in a global organisation who are looking for an experienced Head of Tax / Tax Director to lead the tax function for UK, Africa, Middle East and selected European territories. You will manage one direct report and ensure the group stays compliant while supporting the business with planning, risk management and commercial tax advice.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Shaping and delivering tax planning for new projects and activities to support commercial goals
  • Partnering with commercial teams, finance, legal and wider teams on transactions and operational matters
  • Managing tax audits across the region and handling the relationships with tax local authorities
  • Overseeing Transfer Pricing compliance and documentation
  • Ensuring all compliance and reporting deadlines are met

This would suit someone with a strong UK and International tax background who can demonstrate leadership and commerciality. It would be advantageous to have experience of working with African territories, however it's not essential. The role is based in Surrey and would require 3-4 days in the office.
