Head of Strategy and Insights – Doha, Qatar
Join our client as Head of Strategy and Insights , where you will define the future of their premium onboard experience. This role is best suited to experienced consultants or advisors from leading global firms who have delivered insight-led, end-to-end strategy across premium travel, hospitality, luxury goods, or aviation. You’ll lead a high-impact team across strategy, insights, and PMO—driving innovation from concept through to execution in a fast-paced, globally recognised environment.
What You’ll Be Doing :
- Define and lead the global product and customer experience strategy using best-in-class methodologies developed through consultancy work.
- Apply deep consumer behavioural insights to shape strategic initiatives across inflight products, cabin design, service models, and digital experiences.
- Lead strategic decision-making through structured frameworks, data analytics, market modelling, and stakeholder alignment.
- Direct cross-functional teams and external partners through large-scale transformation and customer experience projects.
- Manage strategic project governance, roadmap execution, milestone tracking, and delivery assurance.
- Translate high-level strategy into executable programmes, ensuring alignment with long-term vision and commercial objectives.
- Establish KPI tracking, performance dashboards, and strategic reporting for C-level review.
- Act as a strategic advisor to VP / SVP-level stakeholders across multiple departments.
- Lead trend forecasting and innovation scanning to inform future product and consumer strategy.
- Build and coach a high-performing team with a consulting-style delivery culture focused on agility, clarity, and impact.
- Bring thought leadership from global luxury, hospitality, and premium lifestyle sectors.
What We’re Looking For :
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s in Strategy, Business or similar highly preferred.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience, including time with a top-tier consulting or advisory firm.
- Proven ability to run multi-market consumer strategy, product positioning or experience transformation projects for premium brands.
- Background in sectors such as luxury travel, aviation, hospitality, or high-end retail / lifestyle.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills—able to present complex insights to executive audiences.
- Experience delivering full lifecycle projects—from strategy development through to implementation.
- Strong commercial mindset—comfortable with investment modelling, ROI, and strategic prioritisation.
- Deep understanding of customer research, market segmentation, and behavioural insight techniques.
