A prominent further education institution in Birmingham seeks a Head of School - ESOL to manage curriculum delivery and support staff in their roles. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and leadership skills, with a relevant educational background. The College has four faculties and each has a Faculty Head, Deputy Faculty Head and a number of Heads of School. The faculty management team has strategic and operational responsibility for the management and delivery of course programmes within a group of college departments. Each faculty works within a remit specific to their area, outlining key focus areas and subject to review by the College to reflect goals, aims and strategic objectives within FE and the College.
Curriculum departments are grouped into faculties. The Head of School has a primary responsibility for the specific department and its individuals, while the Faculty Head holds primary responsibility for the whole faculty and its targets.
