Head of Residential Property – West Midlands

A well-established and highly respected law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its Residential Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated conveyancing specialist to play a key role in shaping and leading a growing team, with a clear pathway to heading up the conveyancing function as part of the firm’s wider growth plans.

The Role
  • Manage and supervise members of the residential conveyancing team, ensuring consistently high standards of client service
  • Oversee a varied caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold, leasehold, new builds, and shared ownership
  • Provide technical guidance and support on complex conveyancing matters
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, lender criteria, and internal policies
  • Monitor team performance, set objectives, and support ongoing professional development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agents, and other stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and client experience
  • Support the Head of Department in delivering strong financial performance and diligence, both personally and across the team

About You
  • Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive
  • Significant experience in residential conveyancing

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem‑solving skills
