Job description
Head of Quality (Barton-upon-Humber)

We are recruiting for a Head of Quality to join our manufacturing leadership team based at our head office site in Barton-upon-Humber. This role requires regular travel across our five UK manufacturing sites and occasional international travel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the Quality Department to ensure all products meet company and customer expectations.
  • Lead the Quality function across all manufacturing sites, ensuring products meet company, regulatory, and customer standards.
  • Oversee and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS), driving compliance with ISO standards and business requirements.
  • Monitor quality performance across all sites, identify trends, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Work collaboratively with Production, Engineering, and Buying teams to drive right-first-time manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide visible leadership across all manufacturing sites, supporting teams through site visits, training, audits, and performance reviews.
  • Undertake regular travel across our five UK manufacturing sites and occasional international trips to visit suppliers, attend industry expos, and explore emerging technologies and best practices.

Additional Information

Full time, permanent role. Must have a full UK driving licence. Travel as required. This role is part of our headquarters' leadership and requires a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
