We’re looking for an exceptional individual to lead our Partnerships and Civic Affairs function, strengthening our relationships across local and regional government, business and community partners.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Corporate Engagement, you’ll lead our Partnerships and Civic Affairs team - building trusted relationships with civic, political and community stakeholders to enhance the University’s influence and reputation.
You’ll work closely with the Civic University delivery team to shape engagement ahead of regional devolution, and with Estates and Facilities to support our Master Plan and promote Southampton as a great place to study, work and live. Internally, you’ll connect colleagues, students, SUSU and academics to deliver joined-up, meaningful outcomes for our region.
You’ll be an experienced leader in external affairs, partnerships or civic engagement, skilled at navigating political environments and building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships. You’ll bring strategic insight, excellent communication and strong stakeholder management skills to position the University as a trusted civic partner and regional leader.
