About the Role

Are you passionate about leading operational projects, optimizing systems, and driving efficiency across port operations? Join DP World as a Head of Operations Projects & Systems in Limassol, Cyprus and play a key role in shaping the future of our terminal operations.

As Head of Operations Projects & Systems, you will oversee critical operational initiatives, ensuring safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the port. You will lead cross-functional teams, optimize ERP and operational systems, and drive best practices to deliver excellence in terminal performance. Acting as a key liaison between engineering, operations, and senior management, you will guide high-impact projects from planning to execution while fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead operational and engineering projects across the terminal, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• Oversee system optimization initiatives (ERP platforms, CAD tools) to improve transparency and efficiency.
• Drive Six Sigma and continuous improvement programs to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all operations.
• Manage shipside and landside operations to deliver safe, cost-efficient, and customer-focused results.
• Mentor and guide operations teams, ensuring proper training and performance culture.
• Conduct risk assessments, performance reviews, and stakeholder briefings.
• Contribute to strategic development plans, budgets, and operational frameworks.
• Act as a company ambassador with customers, suppliers, and external partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of heavy industry operational experience, including supervisory roles.
• Proven track record in leading high-impact operational or engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of operational systems, ERP platforms, and process improvement methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a demanding environment.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
• Full driving license and flexibility to work shifts/overtime as required.
