A leading educational institution in Canterbury is seeking an experienced teacher to lead the Media department starting January 2026. This full-time temporary position requires a proven track record in teaching Media and supporting students in Adobe software. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality lessons and maintain high department standards during a maternity cover period.
At Kent College, Canterbury, we are seeking a well-qualified, experienced and innovative teacher to lead our Media department from January 2026. This is a full-time position, temporary for the period of maternity leave.
The successful candidate will maintain the department’s successes with a passion for exciting learning in the classroom. They will have a proven track record in teaching Media at the required levels, alongside excellent organisational, ICT and interpersonal skills. Pupils follow the OCR Cambridge Technicals Level 3 course at KS4 and 5, and potential candidates must be able to support students in the use of Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop.
Kent College is a co-educational school with a Methodist foundation in Canterbury, located about one hour from central London by train. The Senior School (11–18 years) has around 600 pupils, with a mix of boarding and day students.
