Head of Marketing – 12 MFTC

Coulsdon

£75K per Annum

Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Marketing to join their team on a 12 MFTC. The Head of Marketing will oversee all marketing activities, from strategy development to execution. You’ll shape the company’s brand positioning, manage multi‑channel marketing campaigns, and support sales through effective lead generation, product marketing, and customer engagement initiatives. You will :

  • Develop and implement the company’s marketing strategy aligned with business goals
  • Lead, mentor, and grow the marketing team
  • Manage the marketing budget and deliver strong ROI on campaigns and initiatives
  • Provide data‑driven insights to support strategic decision‑making and business planning
  • Strengthen the brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all channels. Ensure all touch points reflect the values of safety, sustainability, quality and reliability.
  • Oversee the creation of high‑quality marketing materials, product catalogues, and content
  • Oversee the digital marketing strategy (SEO, PPC, social media, email, and website)
  • Drive e‑commerce growth and optimise online customer journeys
  • Use analytics tools to track performance and report on KPIs (traffic, conversions, engagement)
  • Partner with sales to design and execute effective lead generation B2B campaigns
  • Work with the product and sales teams to support new product launches and category growth
  • Translate technical specifications into clear persuasive, customer content
  • Lead marketing efforts for trade shows, distributor events and product demonstrations
  • Oversee the development of datasheets, videos, case studies and product demos
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the industry
  • Build relationships with key suppliers, distributors, and industry associations
The ideal candidate will :
  • Have previous experience within a similar role
  • Have proven track record in digital marketing
  • Have strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • Have excellent knowledge of digital marketing, CRM systems, and analytics tools
  • Have experience in brand management, product marketing, and trade marketing
  • Head a creative mindset with the ability to translate strategy into impactful campaigns
  • Ideally have a degree in Marketing, Business or Communications
  • Be a strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach
  • Be commercially driven and results‑focused
  • Be a strong communicator and collaborator across departments

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm & Fridays 8am to 4pm.
