Your Responsibilities

An opportunity has arisen for a Head of Institutional Sales, Foreign Exchange in the City of London to generate revenue by providing customised electronic foreign exchange solutions to institutional clients, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining strong client relationships. The role requires a deep understanding of FX markets, electronic trading platforms, and client requirements to effectively sell eFX products and services. The Head of Institutional Sales ensures client satisfaction through timely execution, market insight, and superior customer service while contributing to the overall growth of the business.

The main duties of this role will include:

  • Drive new relationships in the Corporate Sector.
  • Develop and enhance existing lines of business, to include but not limited to the Retail Broker, Hedge Fund and Institutional Broker Sectors
  • Achieve strong sales growth across eFX products. Working to targets.
  • Consistently seek out new sources for opportunities via multiple channels internal and external e.g. Self-generated, client referrals, subsidiaries or internally.
  • Direct engagement with existing and prospective eFX clients.
  • Help drive the growth of our eFX footprint, with both our existing and new client relationships
  • Day-to-day management of the eFX execution venues including management of eFX pricing, eFX flow and eFX streaming price bands.
  • Work alongside the Head of eFX and Head of Business Development strategising on revenue growth areas. Optimize liquidity pools in order to maximize client and LP experience.
  • Develop close relationship with PB, streamline the onboarding of 3 and 4 way business.
  • Compile and distribute liquidity reports from eFX platforms to LPs and clients on their monthly/quarterly performance.
  • Use the new eFX platform and encourage its use and migration within the current customer base, with training where appropriate.
  • Undertake tasks, with the overall purpose of ensuring that clients are provided with high quality service.
  • Work closely with Compliance and Risk departments to ensure best business practices, margin tolerances and regulations are met as required.
  • Assist in the preparation for, “tom/next” position roles and/or executes “tom/next” position roles.
  • To be a point of contact and support between the FX department, ADMISI internal desks and other ADMIS Global FX teams in different offices.
  • Full co‑operation with other ADM entities globally and work to the ADM way.
  • A high‑level functional understanding of all relevant internal systems.
  • Contributions to ad hoc projects.
Your Profile

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Good working knowledge of information technology price discovery systems and desktop applications.
  • Microsoft Office – intermediate level.
  • General futures and equities experience or striving towards gaining this experience.
  • Front‑to‑back eFX systems knowledge and of the eFX platforms.
  • Must be educated to GCSE/A level standard or equivalent. With particular emphasis on numeracy. Registered with the FCA – Controlled Function 30.
  • Holds FCA Futures & Options Representative status (or equivalent).
  • Sales experience with customer‑focused approach.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in roles within a financial services environment.
