A leading civil engineering firm in the United Kingdom is seeking a Head of HSEQ to manage health, safety, environment, and quality initiatives. This role involves leading the HSEQ team, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting continuous improvement strategies. Ideal candidates will have a NEBOSH Diploma, demonstrated leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels. As Head of HSEQ you will manage and support the HSEQ Managers and HSEQ Advisory Team within your area of control to meet the requirements of health, safety, environment and quality management systems. You will lead and champion HSEQ initiatives such as Be Healthy & Be Safe, Be Sustainable Be Green and Front Foot Safety plans, ensuring legislation is adhered to. Additionally, you will assist the HSEQ Director in developing and embedding HSEQ Management Systems and strategic actions at a corporate level to enable continual business improvement. You will also review our Health & Safety and Environmental Training Strategy, maintaining its structure and content to meet ongoing business needs.
