Overview

Our client is looking for a dynamic and sharp Head of HR to join the team on a temp to perm basis to lead the department and drive strategy at an executive level with guidance from the Board. They are preparing to bring change into the department by introducing AI tools and a contemporary system to achieve efficiency and support the company's evolving objectives. This will enable you to streamline processes, focus on proactive and strategic recruitment, anticipate, and resolve HR challenges with ease, and ensure full legislative compliance to safeguard the business. You will operate as a trusted advisor to the senior management team.

Responsibilities
  • Taking a pragmatic approach in implementing all aspects of HR strategy
  • Lead the full range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, training and development, and HR compliance
  • The implementation of a new streamlined system and watertight processes from in-depth process mapping across recruitment, onboarding, paperwork, inductions, training, appraisals/ career journey and offboarding
  • Stay informed about HR best practices and legislative changes that may impact the workforce
Qualifications
  • CIPD Level 7
  • Breadth of talent acquisition experience at a senior level
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, UK Employment Law, and regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and systems
  • Proficiency in using HR information systems and other HR technology platforms
  • Capacity to support key organisational changes, as well as managing any resistance, conflicts, and emotions that may arise
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to address complex HR challenges
  • Dealing with supplier management and ability to analyse contractual terms and financial implications around contracts

Salary £80,000 plus benefits and this role is 5 days on site in London.
