Job description

We’re easyHotel. And we’re creating a new kind of affordable hotel. Our mission is to make travel more affordable with smartly designed hotels that give guests just what they need for a great night’s sleep. That means hotels that are easy to book, easy to use, and in central or well-connected locations with four-star style beds too. We keep things simple, so guests can focus on enjoying the destination or getting on with their work. Whether they’re travelling on a budget or just prefer to spend more on the experiences that matter, we’re here for them.

As part of the easy family of brands, we’re known for delivering great value and service. It’s what sets us apart and what keeps our guests coming back. We are at an exciting moment in the growth of our digital journey and to support this we are recruiting a Head of E-Commerce to build our E-Commerce team as we look to scale our digital performance across CRM, digital marketing and product development. This role will be part of the Commercial team at our London Support Office, located in Victoria, two minutes from the station.

The Job:

As Head of E-Commerce, you will leading our E-Commerce strategy and operations. Your focus will be on increasing direct bookings, improving the performance of our digital channels, enhancing the online customer journey, and introducing new ideas that strengthen our brand in a competitive market. Driving direct sales is a major priority for the business, and you will take full ownership of this area. We are looking for a highly commercial, analytical, and proactive leader who is ready to grow with the role and confidently challenge existing approaches. It’s important to note, we are small, hands‑on team, so our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys an entrepreneurial environment and is happy to combine strategic decision‑making with day‑to‑day execution. The Head of E-Commerce will have one internal report and will manage the relationship with an outsourced development agency, so you will need to be ready to roll up your sleeves.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Digital Strategy and Performance – develop and execute the ECommerce strategy to drive direct bookings, revenue growth and customer lifetime value.
  • CRM & Customer Lifecycle – Deliver our CRM implementation project, devising CRM strategy including segmentation, loyalty initiatives and email performance.
  • Digital Marketing – Line Manager the Digital Marketing Manager to deliver performance across digital marketing channels and optimize channel mix for maximum ROI.
  • Product & Website Experience – Own the website development roadmap and manage the relationship with an outsourced development agency.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 3+ years of experience in eCommerce, ideally in hospitality, travel, or multisite retail.
  • Strong handson experience with CRM, digital marketing, and website/product development.
  • Proven ability to drive direct bookings and optimise digital performance.
  • Confident with analytics tools.
  • Experience managing agencies, budgets, and cross‑functional projects.
  • Excellent leadership, prioritisation, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast‑moving, resource‑lean environment.
  • Experience with hotel booking engines, PMS/CRM integrations, and website development.
  • Experience in brand‑building for challenger or budget hospitality brands would also be nice to have.
What’s in it for you:
  • The opportunity to shape and grow the digital strategy of an expanding hotel brand.
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where your voice is heard and your ideas truly matter.
  • Competitive salary and performance based incentives.
  • Employee and friends and family discounts.
  • 8% Employer Pension Contribution.
  • Company life assurance policy.
  • An employer who is committed to the sustainability agenda.
  • Hybrid working policy (3 days in the office).
  • Modern, centrally located London offices, two minutes from Victoria Station, with great snacks and coffee!
