Overview

At Cavendish Nuclear we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Head of Commercial at Dalton Avenue, near Warrington (Cheshire), Newbury (Berkshire), or Bristol.

Day-to-day, You’ll Be
  • Leading and mentoring a team of Commercial Managers to deliver strategic commercial outcomes.
  • Supporting business unit leadership with commercial, supply chain and contract management expertise.
  • Driving long‑term strategy and identifying growth opportunities within regulated environments.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure commercial compliance and performance.
  • Reporting directly to the Commercial Director and partnering with the Head of Business Stream.

You’ll work 37 hours per week, based at one of our Cavendish sites, including Warrington (Cheshire), Newbury (Berkshire) or Bristol, with 2–3 days in the office.

Essential Experience
  • Bringing senior‑level commercial experience within a regulated industry.
  • Demonstrating strategic leadership in complex commercial environments.
  • Working confidently with NEC contracts.
  • Managing teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Navigating commercial risk and compliance frameworks.
Qualifications
  • A degree in a relevant discipline is beneficial.
Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Further details are available at United Kingdom Security Vetting: clearance levels – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk).
