Reports to: Deputy Chief Business Officer (CBO)
We are looking for a strategic commercially minded and highly organised leader to shape and oversee the development, execution and governance of EUIs business strategy. This pivotal role blends growth leadership, operational excellence and strong governance to advance EUIs transformation, regulatory and commercial priorities. Working closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams you will drive growth opportunities, ensure robust risk and compliance management and enable the CBO function to achieve its strategic objectives.
Define and deliver the CBO strategy translating high‑level objectives into actionable initiatives across product, commercial and transformation workstreams. Maintain a strategic roadmap and ensure timely achievement of key milestones.
Partner with the Head of Growth to identify and deliver new opportunities focusing on digital assets, data products, issuer services and market expansion. Build strong business cases and champion product innovation aligned with client and market needs.
Lead governance processes including board and committee reporting, regulatory submissions and risk registers. Ensure reporting is accurate, timely and aligned with internal and external expectations.
Act as the primary liaison for risk and compliance within the CBO function. Proactively identify, assess and manage risks across initiatives ensuring adherence to internal frameworks and regulatory requirements.
Drive alignment across internal teams (Product, Commercial, Risk, Compliance, Operations, Technology) and external partners. Represent EUI in market and board‑level forums promoting the CSDs evolving role in the UK ecosystem.
Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and strategic delivery. Oversee the creation and maintenance of dashboards, KPIs and product books to support decision‑making and transparency.
Support the CBO and senior leadership in coordinating activities and delivering commercial goals.
