A leading NHS Trust in the UK is seeking a motivated Head of Business & Transformation to join the Commercial Services team. This senior role entails driving innovation and achieving key performance indicators across Estates & Facilities. The ideal candidate will have a degree and master's level qualification, exceptional operational management experience, and skills in change management. Head of Business & Transformation (XN10)

Weare seeking to recruit a motivated Head of Business & Transformation tojoin the Commercial Services team within Estates & Facilities, workingacross the five Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust sites.

Youwill work at a senior management level working closely with the E&Fsenior leadership team and clinical teams to lead on Transformation andInnovation across Estates & Facilities as well as having responsibilityfor your services portfolio ensuring that the business, workforce andfinancial planning achieve determined KPIs.

Inthis role, you will be in a unique position to drive change and improvementon a large scale, leading on implementing enhancements to our provision andservices in one of the countrys most complex Trusts. The work you do will influence income,promote savings and impact on patients and staff alike.

Youwill need a strong focus on improving patient care and achieving large scaletransformation driving through efficiencies.

Main duties of the job

Inthis role, you will:

Manage the performance of theservices including Technical Development, Nurseries, Contracts, E&F Hub,Residences, Performance/QA and Communications against key targets andmeasures.

Ensure that resources are deployedeffectively and that robust processes are in place to support the provisionof efficient, high quality services

Responsible for relevant strategicprogrammes and associated budgets and service operational plans

Developing and sustaining capacityand capability within your services

Ensure that service activities areappropriately recorded in order to maximise income opportunities related toservice provision

Engaging with internal/externalstakeholders; promoting partnerships and co-operative working

Ensure business continuity and riskmanagement arrangements are in place in the unit

Contribute to the delivery of bothlocal & organisational objectives

Lead on innovation andtransformation across E & F services supporting the delivery of WRPs

Qualifications
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Masters Degree or equivalent management qualification or post graduate diploma.

  • Ability to lead highly complex multidisciplinary teams based on different sites across the organisation.
  • Manage clinical and business risks developing action plans to improve performance.
Experience
  • Experience of successful operational management at a middle/senior management level
  • Operational and business planning and implementation and options appraisal.
  • Management of staff from a range of professional and occupational backgrounds
  • Demonstrates ability to develop and utilise effective professional networks
  • Preparing strategic plans
  • Demonstrates evidence of innovation in the provision of services
Skills and Behaviours
  • Knowledge of workforce planning principles and practice
  • Excellent change management skills including service reconfiguration.
