Job description

We require a keen and enthusiastic Head Herdsperson to manage the day-to-day operations of a modern and progressive Arla dairy farm in Co. Durham.

Our farm features a

Deval 30 - 60 swing over parlour with cluster flush, milking twice a day with all-year-round calving.

Key responsibilities include implementing routines and protocols for a flying herd of 800+ Holsteins, inputting and analysing data (Uniform Agr), and leading a team of milkers.

The successful candidate must have experience in a similar role, be able to think independently, have good attention to detail, and maintain a positive attitude. AI and foot trimming abilities are advantageous.
