Head Chef - Nursing Home in Crowthorne

Salary : £35,297 per year

Hours : 40 hours per week

Shifts : 5 days out of 7

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at Bucklers Lodge. You’ll create nutritious, delicious meals that make a real difference to our resident's lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and prepare varied menus that meet special dietary requirements (low fat, diabetic, religious diets).
  • Cater for special occasions within the home.
  • Manage stock control and purchasing within budget.
  • Maintain the highest standards of kitchen hygiene and safety.
What We’re Looking For
  • Relevant food hygiene and preparation qualifications.
  • Strong understanding of nutrition and the importance of food for wellbeing.
  • Experience in a professional catering environment.
