Overview

Head Chef - Manchester (Virgin Media O2 Site)


Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM


Salary : £30,000 per annum


We are looking for an experienced and motivated Head Chef to join our key site in Manchester, supporting Virgin Media O2's senior clients and call centre teams. This is a vital role working closely with the Unit Manager to deliver an exceptional catering service and maintain high operational standards.


Key Responsibilities


  • Assist Unit Manager in managing the onsite team to ensure compliance with HR, HSE, Profit Protection, PCI, and stock control

  • Control wastage and manage menu planning with a focus on achieving a 40% Gross Profit (GP)

  • Monitor "Did we make you smile" scores with a target of 10% monthly improvement

  • Manage stock taking and ensure Nexus accounts remain compliant

  • Lead and work collaboratively within the team to deliver excellent service

  • Maintain understanding and implementation of Food Management Systems, HACCP, Food Safety, Health & Safety, Natasha's Law, Allergens, and Manual Handling

  • Commit to WELL standards or undertake training to ensure adherence to WELL guidelines
