We are seeking a talented and motivated Head Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team, a recently opened restaurant known for delivering exceptional dining experiences and high-quality banqueting for private events and corporate functions. As Head Chef, you'll play a key role in both our day-to-day restaurant service and the planning and execution of large-scale events. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in both an à la carte and banqueting environment and is ready to take the next step in their culinary career.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food across all services
  • Create and develop seasonal menus that showcase creativity and fresh ingredients
  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including prep, service, and stock management
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and kitchen cleanliness
  • Control budgets, GP, and wastage to maximise profitability
  • Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff to ensure a strong and motivated brigade
  • Work closely with front-of-house and management to ensure smooth operations
  • Proven experience as a Head Chef
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Creativity and passion for food, with an eye for detail and presentation
  • Strong understanding of cost control, stock management, and compliance
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a busy, fast-paced kitchen
