A financial services provider is seeking a skilled Credit Analyst to operate in a dynamic environment. This role includes credit risk assessment, developing credit policies, and stakeholder engagement. A strong analytical background and experience in financial services are preferred. Hyundai Capital UK Ltd (HCUK) is a joint venture between Santander Consumer UK and Hyundai Capital Services (HCS) in Korea, operating under Hyundai Finance, Kia Finance, and Genesis Finance brands. The company provides funding solutions to retailers and consumers. The Credit Analyst role reports into the Wholesale Credit Manager and focuses on conducting regular reviews of wholesale facilities, ensuring accurate data recording, and making lending recommendations to appropriate authority levels within HCUK, Santander, and HCS. The role also involves structuring and negotiating security arrangements to support lending proposals and acting as a liaison with external legal advisors. The Analyst controls and manages all daily wholesale activities within the role's scope.
Maintain current knowledge of risk, credit, compliance, regulatory requirements, and market best practices, acting as a subject matter expert in wholesale risk within the organisation.
Develop effective working relationships internally and externally, including with OEM partners, SCUK, HCS departments, auditors, third‑party suppliers and organisations.
Maintain communications with regulatory and compliance bodies and key stakeholders. Develop and produce high‑quality management information reporting dashboards under management guidance.
Oversee and monitor outsourced or other HCUK department activities to ensure compliance with KPIs and SLAs delivery. Verification and audit of contractual obligations and charges.
Participate in ongoing reviews to improve quality assurance measures and ensure adherence to legislation, regulations, and internal policies.
Identify risks, incidents, and breaches in line with company risk and compliance objectives and procedures.
Act as deputy for team members and represent the Wholesale Risk Department as needed, performing other reasonable tasks as requested.
This is a fixed‑term contract for up to 12 months. The role supports hybrid working, requiring a minimum of two office days per week at the head office in Reigate, Surrey. Domestic travel, including site visits to dealerships, may be required. A full driving licence is beneficial.
