Job summary

A leading healthcare provider is seeking a full-time Healthcare Scientist in Cancer at Wessex Genomics Laboratory Service. This is a 12-month fixed-term role based in Southampton requiring HCPC registration. The successful candidate will possess extensive laboratory experience and expertise in cancer genetics, responsible for data analysis and interpretation, and collaboration with clinical teams. This position offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to the provision of integrated cancer services.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered scientist with considerable diagnostic laboratory experience.
• Excellent communication skills for effective team working.
• Understanding of quality control and UKAS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Join the diagnostic Cancer team for patient-centred service.
• Perform data analysis and reporting of genomic information.
