Job summary

A leading electronics manufacturer based in Leeds is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to join their R&D team. You will be responsible for designing and developing electronic hardware for new products, from concept through to production. Key duties involve producing PCB schematics, validating prototypes, and supporting production scale-up. The ideal candidate has experience in analogue and power electronic circuits and is capable of collaborating across teams. Some exposure to embedded systems is advantageous but not mandatory.

Futures are supporting a well-established electronics manufacturer with a strong product portfolio and long standing engineering team in their search for a Hardware Design Engineer. Following significant recent contract wins, the business is continuing to invest in its R&D capability to support a busy and growing project pipeline.

This role will focus on the design and development of electronic hardware for new and existing products, taking projects from concept through to production. As a Senior Hardware Design Engineer, you will work closely with manufacturing and engineering colleagues to ensure designs are practical, robust, and ready for scale-up. While the position is primarily hardware-focused, some exposure to embedded systems would be advantageous.
