A leading healthcare institution in England is seeking a Haematology Specialist Nurse to support patients undergoing bone marrow transplants. The role requires strong leadership and communication skills along with a minimum of three years' nursing experience at a band 5 level. The ideal candidate will have a background in haematology/oncology and drive clinical excellence in patient care. This position offers a competitive salary range of £38,682 to £46,580 pro rata.

We are delighted to recruit to the Bone Marrow Transplant Clinical Nurse Specialist team to support our patients within the Haematology service.
Hours: Monday – Friday, usually between 08.00–16.00.
Applications are encouraged from registered nurses with experience caring for patients in a Haematology/oncology outpatient setting.
Line management and ongoing professional support will be provided by the Haematology Clinical Nurse Specialist Team based on Oxford Road Campus.
You will have a clear understanding of the role of the Clinical Nurse Specialist as a clinical expert, leader, researcher and educator. You will act as the key worker for transplant patients. Your role will be an integral part of the Haematology department and you will be expected to contribute to educational sessions and MDT meetings regularly. You will also be committed to the development of specialist nursing practice and demonstrate evidence of on‑going professional and academic development. You’ll be encouraged to expand your knowledge, skills and competencies within a supported and friendly environment with training opportunities available to support you along the way.
