Haematology Day Unit Scheduler

Fantastic opportunity has arisen for a hardworking and proactive individual to join the Haematology Department at Central Middlesex Hospital in Haemoglobinopathy Day Unit. The post holder will exemplify excellent customer service as the first point of contact with patients, providing a welcoming and professional experience. They will work collaboratively with both acute and community clinicians to effectively manage the elective apheresis admission list. Additionally, the post holder will ensure the timely scheduling and delivery of appointments, promoting efficiency and smooth coordination in the booking process. Their role is vital in maintaining high standards of patient care and operational effectiveness within the department.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will have great customer service skills, will understand and proactively manage waiting lists, the successful candidate will manage elective apheresis list, will coordinate any special requirements like interpreters, transport etc and will closely work with community team.
