A regional health board in West Wales is seeking a dedicated individual to join their Haematology team and introduce a Myeloma subspecialty. The role involves contributing to general haematology and haemo-oncology services, participating in departmental meetings, and fulfilling the on-call rota. Candidates must be GMC registered or expect to obtain CCT soon. This position offers an opportunity to develop patient care in a rural setting and work within a collaborative team dedicated to excellence.

We are looking for a highly committed and motivated individual to join our Haematology team as we start to introduce subspecialisation into the health board. Our dedicated and forward-looking team of 7 consultants provide a comprehensive haematology service in the four hospitals in an area of outstanding beauty. This post will introduce a Myeloma subspecialty to our team as part of a redesign of haematology services across the Health Board and will continue to develop as part of the wider transformation process. Support for the post includes Associate Specialists, specialty doctors, clinical fellow as well as foundation trainees. The team also includes haematology CNS team and Specialist pharmacists. Our vision is to provide a future proofed service for our patients to ensure they can be cared for as close to their home as possible.
