KS1 Guaranteed work scheme

Huntingdon and surrounding villages

£140 - £220 per day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

We are looking for enthusiastic Primary educators to become Guaranteed Pay Scheme Teachers, to work across a range of schools in Huntingdon and surrounding villages. The Guaranteed Pay Scheme (GPS) is a great way to work on supply with some financial security. We can guarantee you work each week in exchange for your full availability. The experience you gain working across a range of schools and year groups will be invaluable! We have strong relationships with a variety of schools, meaning there will be a place for everyone.

About the role

The role will commence from February 2026 (or sooner if available) and qualified teacher status (QTS) is essential. We welcome applications from both experienced and early career teachers (ECTs). If you are a passionate and enthusiastic teacher looking to work in a wide variety of schools in Huntingdon and surrounding villages please get in contact.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of As a Guaranteed Pay Scheme Teacher, part of our team, you will:

  • Have solid knowledge and understanding of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
  • Hold qualified teacher status in the UK (QTS)
  • Be able to provide 2 recent references to support your teaching employment
  • Be able to drive and has access to a car
  • Be able to provide full DBS clearance
  • Have the ability to deliver inspiring and engaging lessons
  • Have a passion for providing quality education
  • Have enthusiasm, dedication and resilience to demonstrate excellent classroom practice
  • Have the ability to provide a positive learning environment and effectively manage a classroom
