Qualifications

• AAT Level 4 qualification or nearing completion is essential.
• Experience with accounting software is a must.
• Strong Excel skills and interest in rural or sustainability sectors are plus points.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of monthly accounts, payroll, and VAT returns.
• Support preparation of management accounts as required by clients.
• Assist with bookkeeping and client financial record keeping.

Skills

Experience in an accountancy practice environment

Competent using accounting packages such as Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero

Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Google Suite skills

Organised and proactive

Education

AAT Level 4 qualified or near completion

ACCA/CIMA part-qualified

Strong academic background (minimum B grade or equivalent in Maths and English)
