Client Service Specialist – Group Risk

Location: Nationwide

Salary: up to £32,000 (DOE) + benefits

We are looking for a Client Service Specialist with experience in Group Risk policies, including Group Income Protection, Group Life Insurance, Group Critical Illness or Group Death in Service Pension.

Responsibilities
  • Provide office-based support for an assigned Sales Consultant within the Group Risk specialism, managing the day-to-day running of the client portfolio.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all client and provider queries and issues, ensuring a smooth running of the assigned client portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain constructive professional relationships with Group Risk Sales Executives, clients and insurers at all levels.
  • Respond to queries from clients and insurers in a proactive manner, meeting agreed SLAs and keeping all parties updated.
  • Coordinate administration of schemes, including invoicing, accounts, client queries, claims, underwriting, rehabilitation support services and communication material.
  • Proactively initiate and manage the gathering of all relevant data for each client scheme renewal, ensuring accuracy and assisting with data analysis as required.
  • Prepare template client reports as requested by the Group Risk Sales Consultant.
  • Check all correspondence for discrepancies and challenge as appropriate.
  • Assist with the analysis of data as required and maintain accuracy at all times.
General Responsibilities
  • Assist team performance through regular communication with colleagues and manager, establishing and raising concerns and providing solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards and financial and industry compliance regulations and legislations.
  • Undertake training in line with agreed objectives and keep up to date with product and technical developments.
  • Proactively seek, recommend improvements to processes and service, participate fully in implementation within the team and be an advocate for change.
  • Undertake ad-hoc work as reasonably required by the company.
