A regional emergency service organization in the UK is looking for a Group Manager to lead the delivery of their Safety Plan within Norfolk. The ideal candidate will be a qualified leader with experience in risk management and operational resilience. They will work with partners to enhance public safety and support strategic improvements. To help us achieve our purpose and vision we are seeking experienced and motivated leaders to join our team as a District Manager and a Risk & Policy Manager. These roles are pivotal in supporting our vision to make Norfolk safer through prevention, protection, and a robust emergency response.
As a District Manager, you will lead the delivery of our Safety Plan within your district, ensuring effective risk management and operational resilience. You will work collaboratively with partners and communities to reduce risk, improve public safety, and support strategic initiatives across the county.
As Risk & Policy Manager you will shape operational policy and strategy through horizon scanning, data analysis, and trend evaluation. You will provide insight into emerging risks and ensure our policies remain fit for purpose in a changing environment.
District Manager: £64,013 plus 20% allowance for the Flexible Duty System
Risk & Policy Manager: £64,013 (Grey Book, 9-day fortnight) plus 10% allowance for operational resilience and flexible working outside core hours
