Coverage: Group-Level Responsibilities + Operational Oversight (London & South East)

We are seeking a confident and experienced Group Health & Safety Manager to take ownership of our health and safety strategy and operations across the business. Based in our Barnet head office, this role combines group-level strategic leadership with hands-on operational oversight of projects in London and the South East.

This is a critical leadership role for someone who can drive continuous improvement, embed best practices across multiple business units, and actively support operational teams with practical, site-level guidance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and evolve the Group's H&S strategy, ensuring consistency across all divisions
  • Standardise and modernise H&S processes, policies, and reporting systems
  • Provide day-to-day support and oversight to site teams across London and the South East

  • Liaise with clients and regulatory bodies as required
  • Report directly to senior leadership with regular updates and improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For
  • Significant H&S experience within social housing, planned maintenance, or a similar live environment
  • Strong understanding of operational challenges in occupied property settings
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on site engagement
  • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and relevant memberships (e.g. IOSH)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Please note: This role is not suited to candidates from Tier 1 D&B or infrastructure backgrounds, as this does not align with our delivery model
Why Join?

This is a fantastic opportunity to shape H&S culture at group level while remaining closely connected to live operations. You'll be joining a progressive and growing business that values practical, forward-thinking safety leadership.
